At Be. Beauty and Laser Clinic I wanted to create a space where no-one would feel intimidated, nervous or embarrassed about their bodies. I am an advocate for body positivity and my clinic is welcoming to all. There’s only one rule in my clinic – no negative talk allowed. Remember – you are perfect just as you are.

I focused on continued training & improving my intimate waxing technique as it is the most popular waxing service my clients request. Every waxing service is gender neutral.

We treat female, male, transgender and non-binary clients and are fully trained and qualified in waxing services for all identities.
We have a growing number of transgender and gender-expansive clients who we treat on a regular basis with excellent results. I am extremely mindful that hair removal can be an important part of transitioning for members of the trans and gender-expansive communities and can help with feelings of dysphoria or unease

You do not have to be taking female hormones to benefit from waxing or laser treatment and the question we are asked most frequently from our transgender patients is ‘where do we and where don’t we treat on the body?’ The simple answer is that if you are comfortable to have an area treated, then so are we.

I proudly welcome all clients, irrespective of how they identify. Although society is progressing, it’s a sad fact that many trans or non-binary clients do not feel welcomed in a traditional salon setting. We prioritize client care, privacy, and respect -ensuring that every person who walks into our salon feels valued and understood.

Everyone is welcome at my clinic – except bigots, homophobes, racists and those who are not respectful in general of the services I offer.

Historically, waxing has been marketed almost exclusively to women. For men, though, finding a qualified and comfortable space for waxing can still be a challenge. This is where my salon steps in — proudly becoming the first gender-neutral salon in the North West of Ireland to offer a full range of male waxing services.

In 2022 I travelled to London and trained 1-1 with Jack Dunn (https://jackdunn.co.uk) who is a recognised worldwide industry leading waxing educator and successful salon owner in his own right. Upon returning home I introduced these treatments to my own salon and also worked on a part time basis for Jack. My investment in the highest quality of training with Jack reflects the standards I offer in my clinic.

I have worked diligently to create an environment where men can feel just as comfortable, confident, and valued as women when seeking grooming treatments. We offer a comprehensive selection of waxing services — from facial and body waxing to intimate areas — all performed by professionals who are trained and qualified in these treatments.
