Overview
At Be. Beauty and Laser Clinic we use a use a medical grade Q-Switched Laser for tattoo removal. Q-Switched lasers are considered by dermatologists to be the most effective, safe and reliable way to remove unwanted multi-coloured tattoos with consistent, predictable results.
The energy from the laser breaks down the tattoo ink into tiny fragments, which are eventually absorbed into the bloodstream and safely passed out of the body using the lymphatic system.
At Be. Beauty and Laser Clinic we offer the removal of semi-permanent brow makeup using the same technology we utilise for tattoo removal. The removal of semi-permanent makeup is much more simple than removing a permanent tattoo. There are a number of factors which will dictate how many sessions will be required to remove the ink. As with all laser services provided at Be. Beauty and Laser Clinic, a full consultation and patch test are required before this treatment can be booked. At consultation the practitioner will discuss with you the factors that need to be considered when setting expectation as to the number of treatments that will be required.
Types of Laser Tattoo Removal
With the rise in popularity for semi-permanent make up, we’re also seeing the rise in the need to remove it. Any clients who ask me for recommendations for tattoo brows, there are only 2 clinics in the whole of Northern Ireland that I’ll recommend because I have seen first-hand the quality of their work. Often tattooed brows look harsh, are a block colour instead of hair strokes or when healed the pigment looks orange or pink.
If you are unhappy with your semi-permanent makeup, don’t worry, it can be resolved.
At Be. Beauty and Laser Clinic we can successfully treat eyebrows, scalp micro pigmentation, beauty spots etc. however we cannot treat eye liner due to the need for intraocular eye shields or lip blush pigmentation due to the increased risk of hyper-pigmentation and scarring.
Nearly 30% of people have at least one tattoo. Almost half of all millennials have one – but not all of them are happy about their decision. As many as 25% of those with a tattoo say they regret getting it (myself included!)
If you’re with me in that 25%, there’s good news. Laser tattoo removal techniques can significantly diminish the appearance of your unwanted tattoo with minimal side effects.
